Christophe Godin, guitarist of the power trio Morglbl, joined us on March 29th to talk about the excellent new release titled Grotesk. Morglbl are no strangers to the radio program as they had created quite a buzz back at the end of 1990’s with their disc Bienvenue A Morglbl Land. Their mix of humor, composition, and intensity is willing to make any fan of fusion smile until he or she drools. Christophe chatted with us about the evolution of Morglbl over the last decade, some of his own solo material, his comrades in the recording process, and his and the bands upcoming monumental performance at NEARFEST 2008. Christophe was a blast of a guest that took time to celebrate his birthday with us.

NOTES: Morglbl - Grotesk spent 26 plus weeks in our weekly top 20, the longest of any release in late 2007 to the present. It peaked at #2 on 11/3/07
