I loved him from his early grooving days with etheincomparable Brian Auger, to the later more jazzy work with Trinity - what a great album Befour is - and on to Isotope etc. And I must say his solo album Dancer stands as one of the great guitar fusion records of all time! IT WOULD HAVE BEEN AROUND THE SAME TIME AS I HAD SEEN JOHN MCGLAUGHLIN WITH THE ORIGINAL LINE UP OF THE MAHAVISHNU ORCHESRA ATH FAMOUS RAINBOW THEATRE FINSBURY PARK.
